My A2 is going to be off the road for a very long time.

I got them from Crewe Audi. I didn’t trust the after market consoles so I called Tom and did some begging. They were not cheap but cheaper than Audi RRP.

I know what you mean, after a few weeks driving around I was desperate to get back into something else. The wee car is quite endearing though, it's like a faithful wee puppy dog, it's interesting enough to keep my attention but it's not a drivers car.... Well I say that, I found myself going round a corner the other day at a fair rate of knots, thinking to myself that it would feel a bit more raggedy in one of my other motors. You don't realise how well it actually handles because it's so damn dull and polite about the whole thing!

I have also sank a good load of money into our wee motor but it's in the knowledge that it'll be on the road for years to come and will be dependable. But yea, maybe a winter car.... :)
 
B4Andra I had to fill up with diesel for the first time in moths. The price has gone sky high! I’m suddenly much more tolerant of quirky dull dependability.
 
I don't get this quirky dull dependability at all - I'm missing driving mine so much I bought a petrol to tide me over, ok it's actually for my wife but I'm driving it as much as I can!

It’s maybe not fair to say it’s dull. It’s a great wee car it’s just not a MK1 Golf GTi! Which I suppose with the spec of engine and it’s lightness is probably what I expected. When in fact the car is safe refined economy.
 
Well everybody I did think I was pushing things a bit on this forum but the car,I really like and wouldn’t sell, has nicknames. Eco shopper; it does it better than anything else we own. Racing car; oh dear do we really have to travel that far in that?
Clearly A2s push different buttons for different people, however we all like them.
