New member searching for S-Line...plus questions

Welcome to the forum. I'm based in the UK, so am not familiar with Austrian prices, sorry. Though will add that the newest A2 will still be 7 years old, so make sure you're satisfied that the agreed price reflects that.

The 1.6 FSI 110bhp petrol engine is normally aspirated.

Yes, welcome to the forum. 12000 euros sounds expensive even for an A2 with only 55,000 km on the clock. Sure, it depends on specifications, but as a baseline, two years ago I paid €8000 for my 2004 FSI SE S-Line in a private sale. The car is very close to full specification and had less than 35,000 on the clock at the time. That was in Belgium: don't forget the EU is a single market and you can buy in one country and import without hassle into another.

No serious issues with it yet (now on 65,000 km), except for a sticky engine management warning light which was eventually (and rather expensively) traced to a bit of corrosion in the wiring. It certainly prefers 98 octane. Average consumption on a 2500 km run down to Bordeaux and the return with my own modest weight in red wine was 6.1 litres/100km at an average speed of 66 km/h, mostly long-legged French country roads - declassified Routes nationales - a little heavy urban use in Bordeaux itself and some hard slog on the motorways.
