@hoverdog Are you sure that is the level sensor as the plug only appears to have 2 wires unless there is one hidden? Have a look where I said it was to make sure. As far as I can see the only location for the 1.4 diesel oil level / oil temp sensor is where I have shown. 1.2 diesel and all the petrols are different.

Once again you are perfectly correct, there is only 2 wires. So the sensor is as photo'd next to the pulley on the side of the engine. Don't know what the sensor (?) at the front is.....time to consult the manual, cheers Audifan.
