Problem with Stereo/navigation/6 cd stack system in my 1.6FSi

Help! I have a lovely, fully specced 1.6 with the double DIN bose system and 6 CD player in the boot. The stereo and nav system was all working beautifully THEN we tried the CD stacker - loaded 4 CDs great then we set off. No problems at all - all working great BUT next day the battery was totally flat! It was as though the CD player had not stopped, even though the key was off. We replaced the battery and the radio/nav started (with code), played for a few minutes, but then just died! Have checked all fuses, have disconnected CD player but still can't get radio/nav system to work again. What have I missed? Please help...
 
I would suggest scanning the car for faults - this might help you & us diagnose more accurately.

Sounds like a lovely car - do you have a project thread (hint) :) ?
