Beige leather seats ideally heated lumbar but what do you have.
There will no doubt be a lot more

Absolutely Dave, I’ve tried a range of different thermostats and the OEM ones ( I tried two) were the only ones that didn’t open till 87deg. All the others were fully open well before that.Sorry if I,m teaching you to suck eggs James but it's always best to change the thermostat and temperature sensor at the same time with genuine parts. It's always solved any temperature gauge issues for me.
Mr Broon, I’ll put them up for sale on MarketplaceI have a 4 seat set of beige leather seats if you’re still looking
Are you stationary when seeing the temp needle drop to 60 or driving along. Also how cold is it outside and what temp are you choosing inside on the climate? My a2 will drop heat if I choose hi, with the needle moving down from 90 deg. Especially if I'm driving slow or steady at low revs, and definitely if stationary. My engine has to be red hot to not drop. If you have ac on and it's cold out side the fan will super cool the rad by drawing the extra cool air across the rads. Speeding cooling of system.Quick question to all. I've just had the Thermostat replaced as there is no temp shown on the dash regardless of driving. It now works but when the heater is on it pulls all the heat out of the car and sits at 60. Is this normal? This is driving for about 45 mins at 40-60 mph.
I noticed the same today in Deva. Are you stationary when seeing the temp needle drop to 60 or driving along. Also how cold is it outside and what temp are you choosing inside on the climate? I wouldn't worry unless your not asking for much heat?

I noticed the same today in Deva.
As most know Deva was bought back to me from Dave and he has stated that the temperature sensor and thermostat should be genuine which I no doubt know he did.
I've not driven Deva for a few weeks and today the temperature struggled to move from zero although the vents blew warm air into the cabin.
I drove on A roads stop start for around 15 miles.
If I had driven on the motorway it might have been a different result.
Normally in warm weather, Deva gets up to 90 within 7 to 10 minutes or 8 to 10 miles.
It was a petrol station that's been turned into a load of cubes in name of modern architecture? So folks. What’s the significance of 617 Finchley Road?

Clarkson in the A8 with everything turned off?Im going to give this a go soon. Was also thinking of live streaming it if folks would be interested.
The only plot twist is it will be from Edinburgh to London and back and it will be with a 42litre fuel tank and not an 89litre one.

Even with the 42L tank actually holding closer to 45 litres, this is basically double the challenge that the A8 faced, you're going to have to average 80mpg. The rule of thumb for a TDI75 where long-run MPG = 130 minus your cruising speed, says that a TDI75 might be able to do this at 50mph. An interesting proposition! Are you going to go straight for 'van mode' to lose the weight of the rear seats and false floor? Any other modifications? Good luckIm going to give this a go soon.
