Project peperami - (A2Steve)

I did not realise chavs lived in Wales anyway. I thought they were creatures of the southern part of the country. But then again you are in the south of Wales Steve.

It certainly looks stunning and very modern I think. How you manage to get over speed bumps I have no idea - mine skiffs the ones around here at 5mph!

Sounds like your shocks are knackered. I did get it grounded on the kurb outside my house this afternoon. It will be a learning curve as to where I can go.

What a transformation Steve, sure everyone will agree.
Not sure if you have covered already but what size tyres are you using?

It won't be to everyone's taste Ross but that's the great thing about A2's. Nothing is available off the shelf really so you can use a bit of creative flair and so no two cars are the same.

I'm running 195/45/16. Should really be using 195/50/16 But that's what they came with. I'm a bit of a wheel addict so I will probably have changed the wheels before the tyres need replacing anyway :)

Still awaiting photos of yours mate.

No change on mine at the mo Steve. 16" A1 wheels have been minted/stashed away and my painted Votex is stashed at my cousins paint shop.
Probably won't get it all fitted until June.

- Turbo Technics Hybrid Turbo. PD90 external housing but built to PD130 spec.

- Darkside developments 1-off high lift cam

- Powerflow 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with 4 inch tailpipe(yuk)

- EBC drilled and grooved front discs with yellowstuff pads

- Freelander 2.0 Di stainless intercooler

- Cone filter

- Front and rear H&R anti-roll bars

- JOM blueline coilover kit lowered 80mm at front and 70mm at rear

- Stance+ shortened drop links

- HEL braided brake lines

- Cades Eros 16x7 lightweight alloys with 195/45/16 tyres

- Full respray in Audi Ipanema Brown Metallic including service flap

- Gloss black front lower grilles

- Custom tinted headlights and side repeaters

- Full interior colour change to cream with colour-matched instrument bezel and rear view mirror

- One-off headlining created by Mrs A2Steve and the wee ones (my favourite mod)

I really miss my last project car and regretted selling it within a week of it being sold so I will be keeping this one for as long as I can.

Hope its given some inspiration to some and now I’m just going to enjoy driving it.

Thanks

Steve

Spent a good 4 hours titivating her today while the Mrs was out :)

Used Mezerna heavy cut compound to remove any orange peel left after the respray and topped it of with a good coat of wax.

Also gave the interior a valeting.
