RNS-E with LED screen

Hi,

Yes, I have a mk2 LED RNS E.

I went to a specialist installer who told me that the MK2 RNS E would not fully operate in an A2.

All I did was to point them to this forum and tell them that the exact spec was explained fully on here.

They were VERY impressed with the thread that explained which hardware version and part numbers (I think it was the one that Spike has provided to link to).

They were convinced it couldn't be done, but they didn't know that we have some genuine experts on here.


I don't know the details of the model they fitted but they followed the advice that was on here.

I think you got this work done at Hazzy Dayz if I remember rightly, I did tell them that I had done all of this work and got the speed display working also using a can gateway (not cangate) but maybe it fell on deaf ears.

Tom had the RNS E out of my car today and so I was able to see what model they fitted, strangely enough it was a "D" rather than a "G" or "B". But this was a brand new unit, so that may explain it???
