Thankfully she's in good hands now, are the previous garage replacing the wheel caps stolen while 'secure'? Best of luck with the repairs (to both).
They just shrugged their shoulders when I mentioned it. Case of 'leave it with us and takes your chances'. That's one customer they have now lost.
Call Worcester Bosch direct. I think they repair your boiler for £270 unless it is beyond economic repair.
What went wrong? Is it a mechanical failure, fan motor etc, or is there nothing obvious and showing a fault code?
It was showing the EA code and the flame was intermittently going out. My wife pressed the reset button and switched the boiler off for a while before switching it back on. This worked a couple of times before the boiler refused to switch on at all.
I have contacted WB (and I think they charge £360 as a one-off call-out fee) but a Bank Holiday is the worst time for them to come out!
