Cheers. :) I used Ambersil Groom Foaming Upholstery Cleaner. I was trying to keep the wetting down to a minimum hence using the foaming product.As the drivers door card was badly stained i had to apply it 3 times from memory. It does work well,to help it, i used a soft toothbrush to agitate and then a clean cloth to wipe it of.

I'm guessing as i have seen this in Darrens car that it must be ok as a spare but due to my lack of knowledge on all things A2 can anyone confirm the following. Is this the spare wheel Audi supplied if the option list was ticked regardless of what model A2 or wheels size the car left the factory? Thanks. :)

Lots of good news to report today.:)

I now have the spare wheel in the pic above.
HID headlight conversion fitted.
Cruise control fitted.
New fuel flap Switch fitted.
And an Alarm tweek.;)

Yes i made a visit to Steve's neck of the woods in Stains to meet up with Thomas on his whirlwind UK tour. I have to say it was a complete pleasure to meet them both,they couldn't have been more accommodating of me and our A2.Both of them have a huge wealth of Knowledge and it serves to reiterate that it's always best to leave your car in the hands of the experts for them to work on unless of course your an expert yourself. :p Toms services are superb and i would without hesitation recommend him to anyone,his attention to detail would easily satisfy the most fussy out there. Steve came to the rescue when Tom discovered the R/H/S rear headlight cap was missing,he only went and took one of his car so Tom could carry on with the HID headlight conversion.Many thanks Steve! So all in all a very productive day,thanks a million guys!

I've used this many times on our A2's as well always with good results
 
I'm having trouble with my new wiper arm i bought. It arrived all well enough but was missing the finishing piece like in this pic below.

I've tried to order the finishing piece from Hereford Audi today and they are saying that it only comes with the whole arm. Ive spoken with Stoke audi and they say that the later arms don't have this finishing piece. Hereford Audi are saying this is nonsense just ask him to reorder another one. As Stoke Audi are contradicting another dealer,before i get irate and demand a refund from them and take my business elsewhere can anyone confirm how my A2 wiper arm should look? Thanks.

I was speaking to a couple of people at the social and they had never seen the wiper arm cover so I guess they might be a little rare.

Maybe Mr Birchall can 3D print them!

My picture is of the older arm with a aero blade fitted, a usable option but not as good as the newer style arm you have purchased..

You now have the better option imo.

there is nothing to print. The new shape wiper arm doesn't have that trim due to the different design.

Many thanks chaps for comprehensively clearing that up. I was aware the later style arm is the better arm but you would have thought that it needs some sort of finishing piece to cover up the bearings if that"s what their called or to the uninitiated like me the 2 rivets. It just looks a bit unfinished to me. :( I guess it's a project for a clever person on here to come up with something? :D
