Ive got a pair of Focals sitting in the boxes unused to go in the Audi 80 when i get round to it.

Anyone heard of this little secret? Monitor Audio also made for a short while a range called "Car" audio incorporating all the best technology they had in their original studio series. I managed to bag a pair new boxed quite a few years ago now not fitted yet but i'm sure they would sound great.

Ive never heard of this Schiit, ? but when i've got a few hours to spend will go through that loooong story. ?

I remember my friend managed to get a Leak Stereo amp (MOSFET) and a pair of Rogers LS3/A speakers, it sounded smooth as silk with a cheap CD player

They do look exquisite for sure. I've only ever seen them in the hifi mags but yes would love to hear a pair. I can't see the power source??

Valve amps is something i'm interested in but as you mentioned a couple days ago Mosfetts is needed for the slam, but there's something in me that wants to at least try valves one day, maybe a pair of Quad 40's

The trouble is depending on the style music your playing you could do with a mossfet amp and a valve amp ?...you must find your set up plays certain jonres of music better than others ..there be the problem ?..I truly love valve it’s so pure a clean but as has been said you don’t get the oomph ! That’s were I’m lucky with these big mossfet class A ..but you find as we all get older you don’t want the big oomph ? but prefer a more mellow sound ..Paul

Hi clemy shows we never stop learning not heard of that site well done mate ....cool ..some of the old stuff is still good it doesn’t date if you can pick up the individual components cheap and they don’t go with what you have re sell it you can if careful not lose a penny and trade up all the time
