All pictures were taken by a passenger!
Not bad for a 1.4 16v which is doing 27600 miles per year commuting.
Kind regards,
Tom
Hi folks, I got Andy's invite, but I've just started a new job, and I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment.
I bought my A2 in 2002, delivered fresh from the factory in November. Built to my spec, and painted Imola Yellow, as I had a work colleague with an S3, and really liked the colour. At the time, the only other yellow one in the country was owned by Audi, and had the Open Sky sunroof, so as far as I know, mine is the only completely yellow A2 in the country (famous last words!)
I don't have the book to hand, but I think I had the engine replaced about 7-8 years ago, at around 350,000 miles. I'm currently at just over 516,000, but the car's a bit like Trigger's broom now. Basically, everything between the front wheel hubs has been replaced at least once. The exhaust nearly made to the half million, though.
Hope this is of interest,
Tony
I do have some pics, unsurprisingly but not with me at the mo. When I get a chance, probably the weekend, I'll post the mileometer pics and some of the car as well.
I'm still pushed for time to do this properly, but here's one from last year. Extra points if you recognise where it is.

When I can sit down and spend some time writing and finding the archived pictures, I'll do a full history in the introductions section.
Currently just about to get to 517,000, just had a new turbo, and rather like the Snickers advert it's "better".
Hi
New member but long term owner. 2003, 1.4 petrol SE. Just gone over the 215,000 mark. Didn't think it could go on for much longer but it looks like I was wrong.
