I believe that would have been me . On my way to the office in Peterborough. Usually it's a Thursday I'm travelling that way. Is yours blue?

... I got Project Y MOT'd - 1 bulb and the wiperblade was all it took :), so decided to get it cleaned up. Now to decide what to do with her...

Drive shaft ball joint on the gear box side has failed again after 3000km so needed replacement. unfortunately no bill was found so had to pay again. grrrrrrr
 
...finally managed to get rid of the illuminated engine management light (NKG Lambda sensors rule!) and now have no engine related error messages in VCDS :D
 
The finish on those pepperpots looks spot on. Too soon to give a verdict on the BluResponse's?

Only done 25 miles so far, but comfort has increased noticeably and steering is sharper. The car still jars a bit over sharp transverse ridges, so I guess perfection will require different springs. The Blue Response tyres are also noticeably quieter.

Previous setup was the pretty light 16" star design five spokes and Marshal tyres, with plenty of tread.

Today I picked my A2 up from a local garage after having the thermostat and coolant replaced. The temperature gauge now points to straight ooop North to 90 !. :)
