Today I.....

As with another post, I'd put a standard ECU in, clear DTCs, drive, scan.
Mainly because I don't know which O2, or other sensors ProBoost uses, pre cat, post cat, etc, and what it doesn't. Could be that the O2 errors you're seeing are ignored by new map. I'd think the errors that the new map ignores are still stored, so a real possibility.
A scan with a standard ECU, after a spin, will give you an accurate report of what's going on. That gives us a starting point.

The ProBoost maps out the NOX cat because it's not required with the car running in homogenous mode all the time. However the other cat is still in the loop. These should be the pre- and post-cat sensors for it.

Today I had issues with my alarm not setting fully and my tailgate warning alert symbol illuminating (it wasn't).
In conversation with Tom (@2work) he asked me to try a few things, I did and now all is good
The guy is a knowledgeable genius, he fits in very with a few others on here too.
Cheers Tom.

I did know It maps out the sensor, but idea what else

Car fun day today. Non A2 though
Fitted new rear discs and pads (Mintex) to the wifes' polo (original VW gave up after 7 years and 52k) and refreshed the calipers and carriers (painted black). Then while i was in fixit mode, I managed to refit my repaired drivers door card back onto my resto MK2 golf project.
All in 9 hours of work i'm slowing up in my old age!

Made it to the next milestone. Thinking about how far I can get this pulled-out-of-a-hedge little wonder.

Well the sun finally got his hat on so I managed to grab 30 mins to build my new front struts using the new parts acquired over a number of months to spread the cost. When the weather really turns I can fit them, thou I suspect today was the easy part.

Tom @2work has kindly offered but He is 100's of miles away from me.

Hi Ami

My VCDS is not registered but I have an XTool VAG 401 which can do it I believe; you are welcome to try, I will see if I can find any YouTubes. When are you next at your unit?
