I like the look!
Are they comfy and no scrapping arches?

They ARE comfy but I’m afraid there is a little scraping from the rear on bumps and a bit of squeaking on full lock at the front. Nothing that has even left a noticeable mark in the arch dirt so it’s very minimal.

The TTs sit out quite far so I think I’m going to go for a 205/50 in Spring but these Michelin winter tyres were too good to pass up for £100 for 4.

This morning Vera flew through her MOT with some minor adjustments on the headlamp beams. I think I got away with the drivers seat belt which is very slow to retract but believe its only an advisory.

Try some silicon spray but but put something behind the belt when spraying else you will get it all over your trim! (or spray onto a cloth and then wipe the belt).

If you don't sort out this problem you run the risk of the belt not retracting and then the buckle getting trapped between the door and the B pillar. You then end up scratching the paintwork on the door jab & B pillar when you close the door (been there done that :( )

Where so cheap if you don’t mind me asking?

Glad the part-worn tyres worked OK.
I did a similar thing - I wanted to try some Bridgestones. Tyres worked fine for about 20k miles, but needed pumping up every couple of weeks. Looking at the tyre sidewalls there were some cracks starting (not picked up at MOTs), and on the alloy wheels the paint was lifting around the valve seal. It was difficult to be sure of the cause of the pressure loss.
In retrospect I would have tried to find the manufacturing date of the tyres before I bought them - it's shown on the sidewall in a weekyear combination, eg 3415. The tyres I bought were about 7 years old.
I imagine there are several reasons for cracks appearing, eg exposure to sunlight, but age must have an effect.

... celebrated the 5th anniversary of buying an A2 (not had them constantly since then, had a 2 1/2 year break in the middle) ... I noticed because a FB reminder came up of me asking "Does anybody know how to fit a standard stereo into an Audi A2?" ... oh how times have changed ;)

Thanks to all who have made my Audi A2 journey so interesting thus far, and long may the interest roll.

Today I...(we) took delivery of freshly retrimmed sports seats in leather and alcantara. Unfortunately they have to go back as they left the heating elements out :-(, but will still have them back next week.

At least they're fixing it (hopefully at no extra cost!) Can you PM me details of where you the elements from?
