Tried few times with a detail brush but no joy. I used a very soft brush with the dremmel at low speed.I approve!
Although a good degreaser/all purpose cleaner and a detailing brush would have likely cleaned that area without risk of scratching
?Stop giving me ideas... ?
Is this a service you are going to offer ? Please and do tell us more....Today I services my TDI and fitted the highly modified EGR that I machined all the innards out of a few months ago.
Its not the easiest think to replace as its all at the back top of the engine and there is little room to work, but what a difference it makes, the remapped TDI revs well anyway, but its now at another level, especially when revving from 2500 upwards.
Well worth the hour to fit it , not to mention the 6 hours to machine out the innards and make the plugs to blank of where the EGR spindle used to be
If I did (and I have considered it) A2OC will need to agree that its OK as it removed the EGR valve, which appear to be frowned uponIs this a service you are going to offer ? Please and do tell us more....

You look younger than I imagined
I could also be interested Paul.If I did (and I have considered it) A2OC will need to agree that its OK as it removed the EGR valve, which appear to be frowned upon
It will also not be cheap as there is a considerable amount of machining needed to be done to the EGR valve, it is also only suitable for the AMF engine as the BHC/AML needs the EGR spindle to be in place such that the POT is moved slightly else it will through the EML light
