Today I.....

Please let us know if you manage to sort the ignition switched power. I have yet to find a solution for the Symphony II + unit fitted to Buzz.

Good upgrade ? If not already done, you can use temporary wiring from any 12v source to set the lumbar up to your desired level - it's just 12v and ground to the two pins in the red connector under the seat.

The lumbar is conveniently in quite a nice position already. I may be coming to yours in the next month or two. I have asked Tom to make a wiring harness with the red connector. If a car has a feature I like it to be functional. I know it's probably a daft philosophy but I did buy a weird old aluminium car!

Completely agree - I also had Tom wire in lumbar as soon as I next saw him after I got seats with it, even though I'd already set it to max. Be good to see you again in June if you can make it ?

After loading up and some rather tight reversing last night (7 foot trailer through an 8 foot pinch point, over a crest) I made a half hour journey to meet Ian and Adam ;)

Oops there's the syncroshed again!

A4 had just enough beans to pull the A2 on the loan Clubman trailer.

Must get the syncro sorted asap. More torque required!

Brake discs arrived today, waiting for the pads and the rear kit from Autodoc. View attachment 80017
Update.. If you haven't ordered from Autodoc since Brexit prepare for a wait.
Ordered on 29th April, arrived 24th May. 3 weeks with customs. However no additional fees etc.
Anyway, went for the part assembled prokit rear brake assembly from ATE. £53.79 Delivered.

I tend to think that Auto Doc are a drop shipper rather than a stockist. This may explain the differences ( partly ) in delivery times.

Pub lunch for the first time since last summer with my friend. Was great to chat about cars and learn more about older classics...

Picture taken in case anyone is a fan of the SM...
Nice, chap at work had one. He loved it though the ongoing costs were eye watering.

...put some new boots on Woody. These were VERY kindly collected and shipped from Netherlands by @DuncanA2, thank you again sir. Running 205/45R16 Uniroyal Rainsports on 15mm spacers. Edit: considering 20mm on rear as they sit in slightly with 15mm on.
