VCDS Torsion Value

Confused really as the earlier VE engines have "dedicated locking tools" which also have feeler gauge tollerance setting for the camshaft with the locking plate installed (i had a VE passat, ruddy great car)

The torsion value is not in basic settings (shareware dose not allow this)


Like DuncanA2 quoted @RAB there is believers and non believers, for me so far the figures dont lie and have changed my opinion too!

@fhl VCDS mobile is for their Hex-Net adapter ONLY. So if you do not have that version of VCDS you CAN NOT use the mobile app.

Honestly vcds mobile isn’t great, I use it because I’m lazy, buts but a basic webpage hosted on the device itself.

To conclude my thoughts

2nd tank with Asda Diesel (nossel fully inserted to buffers until no more fuel can be accepted)
375.0 Miles to fuel light

Conclusion

1-nowt wrong with super market fuel
2- wish i had tinkered with the torsion value 12,000 Miles ago when i first got the car
3- look forward to seeing if fitting the JDD gearbox can beat this!
