Votex Body Kits For Sale

Yes, GO GO GO for it! I waited 5 seconds to decide, and that was too long! (Or you could go with that other Guy at £325 + £25 postage!) Ha Ha! Now, those pics of the kit fitted .... very few show the kit/grills/etc. fully integrated colour-wise? I think that this does look particularly effective? What do YOU think?. Oh, I've Emailed Ben at Parts Depot to suggest that sales of that kit be limited to one or two per customer, so that it is fairer. I'll see what he says to that!

I's say between 350 and 500.
I paid 700, but that was with a respray of both bumpers, left doors, and one wheelarch.
And the bodyshop owner was a mate.

humps, you have Eibach? :O

[offtopic]yes, part number correct for my 1.4 petrol. Going on the car before end of month. I may report back after a visit to the 'ring.[/offtopic]

back on topic, I echo the kit looks rather nice painted black on the yellow colour storm (just need get rid of the side decal) but I doubt it'll work well with my cobalt blue. I think I'll have mine painted to the body colour, including the rubbing strips. Besides, I have a few places to touch up, so a blow over might be required. Any recommended bodyshop near NW London?

Yeh, I recon that the same guy whose listing them now on Ebay for £325 (none sold yet) has probably snapped-up these latest kits, too! Just so as he is the only source! He'll just have to reduce his profit margin, that's all!

Bang out of order, do you have contact details for the parts depot guy? PM me

Cheers

Mark

Just had the last one from Parts Depot, kept dithering but Dj190 said "GO GO GO" and it was just too much to resist, well thats what i told he Mrs anyway ;)

last one available at £250

i just bought the 2nd last one...

So who is going to be person to buy what is possibly the last ever available Votex A2 kit (oh, besides the other 5 on ebay which will fly out at that price in Europe by the way)?

Marky999 and DJ190, don't be too hard on the ebay guy-business is business and we all have to earn our living in way way or another. He saw an opportunity and took it, Sir Alan Sugar would have been proud! Granted it was me that presented him with the opportunity as i'm sure he got the info off this thread, but anyway if i hadn't listed the info and had bought all 20 kits myself when i saw them as they were listed as i though of doing, DJ190 i believe you would have been only too delighted to pay me the £399 that i would have been selling them for, which is still cheap by the way as they were £825 new, but instead i did what i felt was the 'right thing' and did you guys a good turn, at the expense of my £5,000 profit might i add, only for you to give Chumsofmanutd the credit and him take it! Who was it that said good guys finish first?

Cheers Ben, I am officially the last.

Great doing business with you mate. Think we should all send you pics when the kits are fitted. I just got a quote from a mate to do mine in satin black and fit it for £300 on my colour storm

Cheers

Lol, didn't realise I had taken your credit! I'd actually seen them on an eBay 'A2' search result just as you posted the link on the forum, then signed on here and saw your reference to it! Sorry to cause offence!

I also agree about not being to hard on the guy that has bought up the remaining stock. As you rightly say he's only trying to make a living, with profit margins like that and how demand will probably massively out way supply it is excellent business.
Cheers Rob

Mark your lucky just had two quotes, one £695 + vat another £570+vat. Will keep on looking I think.

that's right, I too only said 'opportunistic individual', but I don't think 'making a living' is quite the right description, 'making a quick profit' more like. No problem there. Like a lot of people, I have ebay saved searches, I could easily have bought the whole stock at £199 each, but I just can't bring myself to making a quick buck off A2OC members.

Anyhow, this is public info, it is Parts Depot who is the real looser I'm afraid. Don't know why they decided to get all remaining stocks, went through the hard work only forgot to do research! A quick google would reveal these kits were sold for a lot at Audi, even recent small batch was £300 sold quickly. They have lost £2.5k pure profit. Let's move on, get these kit fitted and post some picts :)

P.S. Any recommendation for a bodyshop near NW or around London?

Have you ever thought that these kits MAY have been sourced from Germany? I have tried my best to find out from "Ben" at parts Depot, exactly where they came from ... no joy! Hard to think that they were ALL just gathering dust in many U.K. dealerships? Anyway, my daily look on the net is :- Email > A2OC > Ebay (AudiA2, recently listed) , So, grateful as I was to what I saw about the Votex kits on A2OC, then a minute later I would be landing on that Ebay listing! AND I would have helped you Guys, just like A2Z did! That's what Friends are for, eh!
