My current occupation is poor impooverished veterinary surgeon, drooling over pictures of the new A3.... Perhaps Ill have a real job with real money one day (dream on).
My employment is now looking for work. Worked over night in a call centre. But now been made redundant. Nice German company who took us over, and who don't realise I have a German car to pay for and they ain't cheap.
I seem to be the only retired person, ex senior manager (engineer when I started) with British Telecom, also ex Royal Navy electrician, and for a while after official retirement was Chief Exec for a maritime charity. Currently fighting full time to beat cancer, chemo a bit nasty some weeks. The A2 is the only car that will fit in the hospital car park!
Hi littleone, welcome to the forum! I don't have an FSI myself, but plenty of people on here do so I'm sure someone will be along in a minute. From what I gather, they go very well as long as you use the right fuel.
Hello HollyRescue,
Sorry to hear about your health problems, and if it's any consolation I have a good idea what you are going through with your treatment etc. I've been through it myself 2 years ago and all the physical and mental problems it causes. However I'm still here to tell the tale and hope it might give some encouragement.
Wishing you the best of luck,
Regards John W.2002 TDI SE
Thanks for your good wishes John W and Lukas, this is the third time. I'm almost getting used to it. It is also one of the reasons I have an A2 with all the toys, lets enjoy life I say.
After boasting that I use the A2 to park in hospitals because its narrower than the Volvo,I took the Volvo today, whilst having chemo some ******* of a gardener managed to project a stone through the window with his mower (then he disappeared), glass everywhere. It will be repaired A.M. tomorrow. I'm glad it wasn't the A2, I'm not sure it would have been repaired so quickly, back orders etc., but I could be wrong. Suppose it had been the open sky, it doesn't bear thinking about.

Yes, they have agreed to pay for the damage £212!!. I've done it through insurance. He said he doesn' remeber it, The alarm is enough to waken the dead, I heard it inside the hospital. I said if it had been the A2 and the open sky damaged he would have been truly shocked at the price.
