A2 Cars Feedback

It's very common on A2 for the heat shielding to come astray. The fixings corrode. You will see on newer vag group cars that these components are plastic however it's a definite weakness on our cars.

Considering my car has spent it's life in Yorkshire and Scotland I'm happy that most of mine are ok. Not sure if that's because i wash the underbody infrequently or it was maybe treated at sometime prior to my ownership from 4 years old.

Tony has a fix for this and I'm sure he may share this information or maybe search engine Spike may find the thread!!

I've a few to get sorted out but that'll get done in time.

edit: I realise I've probably encouraged the spamming of Tonys feedback thread but I think the discussion is relevant. Quite like the idea of a social in MK sometime. Whether Tony would have the time to host an influx of A2 geeks who aren't paying customers is another question but it sounds like an 'open day' concept to me.

Would be a good photoshoot opportunity.

Anouther happy A2 cars customer

Went to A2 cars Saturday for health check and diagnostics check! And must say it was a pleasure meeting tony and Petra and there trainee tech, what a very nice and helpfull bunch of people, I loved every minute of being there, we even got to see the underneath of our little a2.
But better still we went there to get our little a2 check out and see if we brought a sound car, and in Tony's eyes he loved the car and said it was really clean, which put mine and my missus mind at rest, so we now we got a great car,
Still got a few bits to sort out that tony recommended but can't wait get back up there and have some more work done and have anouther cup coffee and chat with Petra, me and Clair both love ur accents :), and seeing humpy ...

If u have recently brought a A2 I recommend going see A2 cars belive me it's well worth the journey up there and seeing there clean workshop and all there A2's they have lol

I'll be back very soon
Thanxs again for great service Ian and Clair

Yes we will bring baby

Some pictures of the underbelly would be much appreciated, I had the fuel filter heat shield replaced when i visited but Tony mentioned the other side (o/s rear) was missing, not many pictures available to compare on the inter-web searches.

Did you take some? if so i would really appreciate it if you could post to compare.

appreciated Tony, lots of A2 owners crawling under cars now;), I'm missing the passenger rear one, great if your carrying them in stock now.

Feedback

Another big A2 car fan here. Tony and the team took really great care of Suszi who was in for a major service, OSR service and cambelt and waterpump change oh and about another 7 things which I kept adding to the list.

Unfortunately we ran out of time to get some of the tasks done so Suszi is booked in next month as well to follow up on the items that couldn't be done.

I can't praise Tony and the team enough, they listened to my feedback about the problems I had in the car and once Tony handed back the keys he was brilliant enough enough to go through all the work done in detail as well as the fault codes (I know it's all part of the service but the wealth of knowledge and feedback goes beyond the normal call of duty).

Finally they made my family most welcome and although I didn't have any of the world famous coffee Petra has now got my 18month daughter hooked on Biscoff biscuits!

Tony, you and your team are clearly masters of your trade and take immense pride in your work. So I tip my hat off to you.

See you next month where we can talk more A2's, F1 and Biscoff biscuit spread.

Thank you Hassan! Always great to meet fellow owners and enthusiasts, and a Red man too ;).
Looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks, and, Petra says - don't you dare not bring the family along!
Well done too for making the time to drop in at the curry social.

Tony, this may be very sad but I'm sure that is the underside of my car. I recognise the tyres!

Yes Steve. Tony has also recently fitted two new rear shields and the aero kit

BIG thanks to A2cars

Just got back from the A2 Cars open day and what a great day it was. Was great to meet old and new members and finally put a face to the name.
A big thanks to Tony and Petra and all at A2 Cars for putting on an amazing day, the food was very tasty and a crispy creme donut for breakfast hit the spot, so many nice A2s on display and I now have a new list of things I need :)
I will post pictures up shortly

I enjoyed this too!
Plenty of people to talk to and opinions to share, the chance to look at cars on the ground & one in the air, and provision of refreshments too.
Very interesting to see the efforts put in and high standards of presentation.
Tony and Petra - thank you very much.
Looking forward to taking my A2 there so that A2cars can wave their Magic Wand.

I agree wholeheartedly with all previous comments on a really fantastic day for the A2OC, existing owners and I'm sure a few future ones.
Was great to meet and chat to familiar and new faces. To see many very nice and many very honest A2's of which we are all so proud of.
The hospitality provided by A2 Cars, is equal to the attention to detail and expertise they have shown to me and my A2 on every visit to them. So a big thank you from Klaudia and I to Tony Petra and their staff.

P.S I hope it will become an annual event and a must have addition for any A2 owners social calendar.
All the best to you all.
See you at AITP 2015.
Drew.
