A2 Cars Feedback

Got to agree .. even though we got down there late was an exception day .. great seeing so many faces old and new .. fantastic turnout ... bug thanks to petra and tony with their crew for a great day and their hospitality... defo should make it an annual meet up ... came away with some bits to which im thankful ... see you all again soon ... zippy

(You might be astonished to learn that I managed to navigate home without ending up in Aberdeen or John o'Groats  )

Hopefully I'm closer to there then you are Mike.

792 miles (or smiles) later I got back home at 2315.

Agree with all comments. What an excellent day and heartfelt appreciation for the effort and wonderful hospitality from Tony, Petra and family for their open day.

Also fitting for the success I'm sure we all wish for a2cars it's perhaps the biggest single gathering of A2s and us quirky owners that's been seen - with a total of 37 cars over the day I believe.

Totally fantastic day. Loved the space frame shell on display, the professional air to the workshop and of course meeting old friends and new.

I had the odd chuckle a couple of times when folk clearly couldn't make out a word of my Scottish accent. You'll be relieved to note I don't write in Scots! !!

Once twice and thrice to the A2cars team. Thank you thank you thank you.

Best

M

To echo others comments, what a fantastic day! :)

Many thanks to Tony, Petra and the rest of the team at A2 Cars. You have displayed a great day for A2OC, and it was great to see your facilities and some of the work you do. Very impressive!

Thank you for the inspection of my car, too. It was good to see underneath my car and for you to point out where it could be improved, certainly very useful. :)

Well worth the 364 mile round trip. Frankly, I'm quite amazed at the little Audi; I did 70 MPH ish wherever I could, apart from the 50 MPH limits on the M6 and M1, and the car has returned a DIS indicated 68.8 MPG. Not too bad at 70! :p

Good to see Murdo and James (jp.oog) on the M6 on the way back too, and coincidentally, I parked in the same car park as Hass on the Wirral later that evening, more than 180 miles away!

Thanks for a great day! :)

Matt.

Big thank you to Tony and Petra for a wonderfully organised day. From being wowed by the magician to the caricature. My wife and little one had a great day and enjoyed meeting with old friends and new. Already looking forward to AITP.

Hi Matt,

Sorry I didn't get to chat to you yesterday. It was a mad dash yesterday to drop off my wife and little one home and then head to New Brighton to see Tim Vine.

Hi Hass,

No worries; I look forward to seeing you at AITP! :) My family will be there again too.

Ah yes, it was the car park at New Brighton where I noticed your car. :p

Regards,

Matt.

Likewise, a splendid day and a big thank you to Tony, Petra, and Co. for being A2 Cars!

It was great to put some faces to the the usernames, I still can't figure out the magician's tricks (though some would certainly reduce A2 labour costs), and one day soon I will upload some pics to show the fine work that Tony has put into my 'keeper' A2..

Was good to meet you, loving your A2, the black wrap works very well on your car.

Hi All,

I'd also like to join the others in thanking Tony, Petra and the team at A2cars for a great time at their open day.

Yvonne

Huge thanks to Tony, Petra and the team for a well organised and friendly event.

Also big thanks for everyone who attended and helped make it a real success.

I am always surprised at just how many A2s we get at these events and yet there are no 2 that are identical!!!!

Cheers
Steve B

Echoing everyone else, thanks Tony and Petra for a great day, really glad I came up. Good to meet others from the forum and to see a few Essex A2s in attendance!
I'm looking forward to possible upgrades to my suspension and a few more bits and bobs being done in the future. My Skoda will pay a visit to A2 Cars too at some point.

Thanks again everyone

Thank you A2 Cars!

We had a awesome day and yes, i managed to eat three Glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

Magician was cool, but not sure on the caricature artist's portrait of me. The wife's portrait looked like a model though...

It was great to see lots of cool looking A2's and i managed to finally see Steve B's A2 Holy Grail! What a car

Sorry if i didn't get around to meeting more of you on the day, hopefully i will be at AITP.

My A2 will be going to A2 Cars if it needs any work that i am not capable of doing myself. I wouldn't trust any other garage.

Thanks again!
