Lupo 3l -need help

According to the Bistein website, they only manufacture springs for a 3L, nothing else.

Belt only changed? Water pump changed? Tensioners etc. changed?

VNT mechanism may need cleaning. 00511 is a poor electrical connection associated with gear change.

Tnx Rab, do I just monitor whether 00511 will reappear and if it does, what needs to be changed? There are ni issues and the error is intermittent. I just cleared it.... Regarding the belt service, all is changed... Ill ask a VW tech about it, unfortunatelly, i guess it cant be diagnosed via the internet...
 
00511 is probably caused by a poor/intermittent connection under the gear lever.

Kk, tnx. Maybe it has something to do with the oily reverse switch, and the car sometimes engaging reverse
on the second click, i have forgotten about that...
As far as shocks are conserned,
if you are on originals, consider changing soon, because they are busted most likely. I have only adapted to the car, so i considered the way it drives normal. But the difference is huge, even with new fronts only....
 
We have had rear shocks replaced on all three cars, quite recently. All fronts are original.

Are you thinking about fitting these to your 1.2, Lukas? In theory, you should be able to because the front shock on both is the same part. I'm not sure why, but the front suspension on the Lupo is so much superior. They are not exactly the same, but the small variations should not account for the difference in performance. At the price it might be worth a try.
