Project LNO

A few more steps along the way …

The seats have been thoroughly brushed and cleaned with leather detail which of course you can’t see, but makes the car smell like a sadler’s shop.

And a few bits arrived by the postie. Hard touch climate panel will need to be trimmed to fit the double din dash, but the refurbished switches have gone into the soul door cards very nicely.

That pleases me.

And last week I was fortunate to be passing Tom’s ( 2work )place.

So popped in to collect my trimmed and updated RNSE-PU - and have a cuppa and chat.

Thanks again Tom, I’ll do the big reveal once it’s fitted!

And after some to and fro with timmus (thanks for your patience Tom)
we have dates sorted for Phase 1 at least - fitting the double din, RNSE, MMI, cruise and lumbar.

That should be an enjoyable drive home from Lancaster.

And finally, the tow bar arrives from Germany tomorrow - that’s a job for the end of December. It seems expensive, but still cheaper than fitting one to the family car.

À bientôt …

Hi Simon,

It was really nice to meet you Sir, you’re always welcome again when passing. You have my number so just message me and we’ll have the kettle on.

Looking forward to the future updates once the planned work is complete. You know where I am if you need anything.

Kind regards,

Tom
