Rear cupholders

I got the parts yesterday, how is that for processing time? :)

The cupholder is even more spectacular than I thought. Just opening and closing the two little lids is fascinating to watch and well worth the wait.

No luck on getting those two little bracket bits anywhere, so I guess I'll mount it without the rear support.
Unless I dream up something bracket-ish that'll do the job.

Wow I remember that pic, taken some 2,5years ago just after my MEGA HUGE reconditioning of the leather(interior)at DITEC.

Speaking of that, been without my A2 for 3 days now and probably wont get it back until tuesday as it is back at the same place for another MEGA HUGE reconditioning of the interior.

My floor box was brand new on that pic, it doesnt look as fresh anymore tho as it has scratches and all. 2 small kids are never nice to a cars interior.
The seats are in same condition tho as Im covering 'em up with protectors from all what kids can come up with for destructable "tools".
 
I was wondering why it looked all new and shiny, almost like the picture was from a catalogue ;)
 
Excellent! What's the part number for that lovely storage box? And the rear cup holder too, I can't find it in the parts base!?

is your rear cup holder colour soul black? did they still have them in stock where you bought them from? i priced one over here a few months back but never got round to buying one and with xmas just round the corner i might have to hold off for now!

still hoping that i might find one breaking from a car but ive got more chance of winning the lottery :)

Yes, I ordered a soul black and it's a brand new, as I can see. It looks little lighter than the console in the camera flash, not so lighter in the daylight, really. I'm OK with the color, as long as it's not cream or white :)
After I lost the bidding round on one on German ebay at nearly €100, I decided to do as THS did and ordered from AMB-trade! For a few € more I got a new one. I was a customer there already, these guys can really find parts and there's no order too small for them!

I just fitted the box in the car, didn't screw two brackets at all, just clicked in the front bracket under the console and pushed the rear bracket under the seats, it sits tight there. The box hooked on the rear bracket and clicked on the front one - looks to me it's all I need to do!

It's black, I guess I have to wash some silicone-like stuff from the console to make it look even, the previous owner liked a shiny look on everything, I guess :)
