I think most who have invested in the genuine diagnostic tool have bought the following:

It seems like a big investment, but with dealers charging around £85 for a scan only, it soon pays for itself.

Thank you Jeff, I was ready to get one as my engine light came on but some treads suggest to look for air leaks test the o2 sensor and clean the choke i got the choke cleaner but I'm confused now as I was driving home the light went off and all I done is filled the fuel tank with super unleaded and make sure the fuel cap is tight."Scratches forehead"

Wow, that's pricey. I have a similar, and completely legit software/hardware setup for my old BMW, of the same era, that set me back about £20!

I have the genuine cable and I am based near Heathrow Airport.
Happy to help for the price of a coffee (by that I mean you supply the coffee if I come around to make the changes)
If you come to me then I make the coffee!) I did not mean the charge is equivalent to the price of a cup of coffee! in some coffee bars that would be expensive!!!

I have most codes for the Audi A1 mods, but happy to help with A2's too.

Hi, I have the full version, just bought it and used it to activate the cruise control I fitted, in Hamilton, near Glasgow.

I have a Vag Commander cable that I run together with Carport Diagnostics. Not as fully featured as VCDS but good enough to read error codes and activate cruise control.
You'll find me in Göteborg, Sweden.
