Today I swapped out the 17" wheels that came with the car with OEM 17" wheels.
I'd been told that the old alloys were not OEM, although they looked like a good copy. I didn't think twice that their dimensions were different; turns out, they were. The non-OEMs were 17x7.5 ET35 (OEM are 17x7 ET38).
Now that I have the OEM wheels fitted, I kind of miss how the (slightly) stretched 205 tyres looked on the 7.5. That, and the additional offset, made for a subtle but unique stance.
