Today I ... completed a bit of an interior refresh. I do appreciate the leather seats I'd upgraded to, but they do make it rather dark in there. So I've gone from this ...

I bought these seats cheaply off eBay, collected them en route to the recent Welsh driving day and lugged them around the entire route and back home. The doorcards came from @Sarge's Crystal Blue breaker just before it went to the great meet-up in the sky.
The seats are supposed to be a temporary measure, the plan was for them to provide the lumbar mechanisms and the switch-trims, to be retrofitted to a set of blue Satellite SE seats. Those also came from @Sarge's car and have come up very nicely with Autoglym foam and a steam cleaner.
But actually these Sports seats aren't bad at all, with just a slight fraying and sagging on the driver's bolster. Seeing how good a match they are for Crystal Blue, I'm now in two minds. @rosscanning, you may have written the book on trying all the different seats but I share your pain Whichever two sets I don't end up keeping will eventually be appearing in the Market.
Nice job Ian. As Steve says, the opposite switch to most, but logically, I too can see why you would want to brighten up your interior.
Impressive that you carried that lot around those roads in Wales and in those conditions, though perhaps the extra weight improved the handling, if not the acceleration...
