Did you get one for £26.11?

This morning attended an excellent localish cars and coffee event down Cowbridge. Some very tasty motors on show across all makes.
A couple of stand out cars, ferrari f40, Ford gt40, two very old rolls royces, lambos and porsches aplenty with the odd Aston and us muscle cars thrown in.
A very good 3-4 hrs out

Took a 350 mile round weekend trip to the Highlands, specifically Fort William. This was the longest journey undertaken since "Tigger" was aquired a year ago. Photo taken near Glen Coe.

Given the grief and expenditure over those 12 months you would be right in thinking some anxiety was involved however the only thing to remedy after the trip is a loose rear mudflap so I can't grumble.
Edit - 53mpg average, which I consider decent considering the gradients involved.

met @George Hogg and Mrs @George Hogg today by complete chance at WOM while dropping off my £1 project car for the next stage of the project, and after a good car chat, as a complete bonus got a lift from George to the station in his yellow Colourstorm special. What a community we have of owners, specialists and generally all-round lovely people.
Obviously met George when he was collecting it. What a lovely genuine guy 😊

All the other A2 folk are much nicer than me! Lol
It was good to meet you Robin too
Steve I feel like I’ve know you for years!
Thanks to Marcus and Rob for making Ruth a new key for her Golf and for scanning Angry Bee!

Today I reunited my fleet after the S3 had been away for a very long time burning through extended warranty money trying to resolve a noise coming from the rear. Good to have the two together again also a reminder that the TDI A2 is a very reliable car it’s on 9x the mileage of the S3 and gives me less trouble.

Now that is a really beautiful photo. Astonishing hills you have there.

A Halford one actually fits? I've read a lot about, how difficult it is to replace the gear knob, I thought very few actually fits, like the A1 knob which I've planned to replace mine with.
Have you got a link which one did you get? Cheers

Well it was actually last weekend that it happened. A friend needed to dispose of a very deep king size mattress. Audi A2 tu the rescue. Removed the rear seats. Trussed the mattress up with a couple of ratchet straps and voilà...
By the way, does anyone know how to return the arches back to black?

The storm wheel arches are paint code L1P9 satin black. A local spray shop quoted me £250 for all four repainting.

Last night Audrey did another circa 150 mile trip of 50/50 fast but hilly A road at 50 to “70 plus” mph on the downhill bits vs. the M27/M3 with the cruise set to 68mph at 67.5mpg - impressive as I wasn’t particularly driving for economy. I suppose as the temperature drops through this month that will get harder to achieve.
