Adam and his Dad Ian are great guys. This weekend my car had a trip down to Adam (Kleynie) for the OSS roof repair, such an amazing lad to be dealing with his knowledge and advice and enthusiasm was amazing, i know the car is in safe hands.
I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow, hopefully a dry day to be taking it back to Essex
Thanks Adam

Did you get one for £26.11?Today I managed 57.5 mpg which for me is excellent!
Also collected dogbone mount ready for replacement in a couple of weeks.

Obviously met George when he was collecting it. What a lovely genuine guymet @George Hogg and Mrs @George Hogg today by complete chance at WOM while dropping off my £1 project car for the next stage of the project, and after a good car chat, as a complete bonus got a lift from George to the station in his yellow Colourstorm special. What a community we have of owners, specialists and generally all-round lovely people.
Now that is a really beautiful photo. Astonishing hills you have there.Took a 350 mile round weekend trip to the Highlands, specifically Fort William. This was the longest journey undertaken since "Tigger" was aquired a year ago. Photo taken near Glen Coe.

Given the grief and expenditure over those 12 months you would be right in thinking some anxiety was involved however the only thing to remedy after the trip is a loose rear mudflap so I can't grumble.
Edit - 53mpg average, which I consider decent considering the gradients involved.
Is yours having full overhaul? Mine needs it too. This weekend my car had a trip down to Adam (Kleynie) for the OSS roof repair, such an amazing lad to be dealing with his knowledge and advice and enthusiasm was amazing, i know the car is in safe hands.

A Halford one actually fits? I've read a lot about, how difficult it is to replace the gear knob, I thought very few actually fits, like the A1 knob which I've planned to replace mine with.Did mine recently too, polished chrome with 6 speed insert a bargain at Halfords for just a tenner

The storm wheel arches are paint code L1P9 satin black. A local spray shop quoted me £250 for all four repainting.Well it was actually last weekend that it happened. A friend needed to dispose of a very deep king size mattress. Audi A2 tu the rescue. Removed the rear seats. Trussed the mattress up with a couple of ratchet straps and voilà...
By the way, does anyone know how to return the arches back to black?
