On account of a transmission issue which means the car thinks it’s in reverse. Worked through all the usual workarounds, scans etc without success.
Tomorrow El’y will be chauffeured to WOM and no doubt those wonderful Womersley boys will get to the bottom of it. (Once she gets to her place in the queue for their valuable time!)
‘interesting’ probably wasn’t the term I used @Joga but I hear you sir! Yes, I’ll certainly post an update on the car thread once we’ve got to the bottom of it.Interesting problem (and its coming remedy), keep us posted?
Afternoon Simon,Tom,
That is fabuuuuulous!!!!!
Well done, Sir
Hello Erling,@2work that really does look the dogs dangleberries doesn’t it? Well done mate
For what it’s worth, I like the bit of black on the rub strips. It balances the front grill for me, but obviously live with it for a bit and see how you feel down the road.
I think you did entirely the right thing leaving off the Votex until JR came along. Doesn't that just look the business! ... at least from the front and rear. I'm never quite sure of pepperpots on Votex though, even with spacers. I think that would be absolutely complemented and finished off if you were to find a set of BBS wheels or something similar with a fine spoke pattern. Maybe not 17" though if you still want the comfort for commuting?Hello Erling,
Haha, yes I think so too Sir. It’s been a long time coming but the kit finally made its way down the ladder from the loft space and made choice on what colour to be. This was originally going to be Azure Blue for a certain OEM themed A2. So glad I waited until this particular A2 presented itself for sale.
Think I’ll leave the black run strip as it is for a season and come back to it next year. Personally I agree with you as it assists breaking it up a bit whilst complimenting the front bumper grills. Probably decision made right there mate!
Kind regards,
Tom

To my eyes, it looks great as it is. The Votex body kit compliments, maybe even enhances the body shape, because it is subtle, not "in yer face"I think you did entirely the right thing leaving off the Votex until JR came along. It definitely needs bigger wheels, (imo). They look very out of place with the chunky wheel arches. As George, ( @George Hogg ) says, 17" with the right shocks, are OK ride wise and ace visually.Hello again,
Today I… took Project EUD on its first journey to the local shops to drop off someone’s purchase after eagerly waiting 72 hours for the adhesive to cure. I can assure you all that nothing fell off.

But I really need to pop up to Lincoln to collect the OSF jacking point cover. A task for Monday.
Kind regards,
Tom

Edit: "ace visually" substituted for "ace cosmetically"
