A2 Northern Meet - NEW DETAILS ADDED

If you want a lovely walk for Rosiedog or general mooching, then head down the road that Travelodge is on (Bullerthorpe lane). Turn right at the T junction and then right after the two bridges over the river and canal (but before you pass under the railway bridge). Follow the road a couple of hundred metres and there is parking and a lovely walk along the canal. I live 5 mins walk from there up the hill near a pub called the Two Pointers.

I think there are a few of us staying at the Travelodge and thinking of meeting up on the Saturday night for a bite to eat. I'm sure we can find a dog friendly place for Rosie Dog.

I'm aiming to get there by around 6pm. What time is everyone else arriving?

Both myself and Jeff are coming over to the Travelodge for around 6.30pm Teresa so hopefully see you there... have a safe journey.

Thanks for that, will give it a go to stretch our legs on arrival.

Probably around 7 for me. The Mrs is working till 2 . Mr Google reckons it's a 4 hour drive. 4 hours in the A2. Smashing!

The 66 is the best bit Murdo and you can wave to all the In-ger-land fans driving up to Hampden park !. :)

Well guys very sorry to disappoint was really looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting some new faces but I've got up this morning with the start of vertigo setting in. I'm absolutely gutted.
