Audi Driver International 2011

hi all just a quick question-------regarding the breakaway meal i see we have two real options
1 we book a table at the Hilton -- food has been good in the past and for £15-20 per head. PLUS NO DRIVING
2 i try and book us into an eatery locally----which is looking like a mine field going by reviews

can i ask that all that are coming to the breakaway evening meal pm me the number of people and any no no's regarding food.
 
i've just booked the hotel for me and Ang (breakfast both days, evening meal on the Friday night only), so we're flexible and will go with the flow. So whatever happens, put us down for 2 places please Mike.

If it's of any interest - the Spice of Asia in Lyneham is one of Wiltshire's finest Indian restaurants. It's about 20 mins from the Hilton, and has its own carpark.

So with the few Pm's regarding the meal i have 21 people-----myself-Vonnie-robin-Maddy-Chrissie-Richard-riverlad-mike-Ange-Heidi-Jake-Paul-jeff-glyn-petra-tony-andrew-christopher-terry-nichola-mikemars. is that it? if so i will be phoning around to see who can fit us in. No one has expressed any Dis likes so curry is looking good.

Just got in from work an noticed this thread. Myself & Glyn will be eating too, however Glyn cannot eat, or infact even frequent Indian establishments (can't stand the smell or the taste). Sorry if this causes any problems - we are also happy to eat alone and meet up afterwards if arrangements have already been made.

How about a buffet? There are lots of those around who have multiple food types from around the world.. although I dont know one in swindon

Right then fellow A2oc'ers i have booked a great pub that was recommended by a friend that lives near. if you would like the details please pm me and i will send you the menu. Table is booked for 7.30 so gives us time to scrub up after the day at castle comb.

glad it's not curry as we don't want to spoil our curry night later in the year.

Yes sorry i did not see it but i have voted for the A2OC in a number of categories, would it be ok to collect the awards when you win? :)
 
Should we win any category, then yes, please feel free to collect on the clubs behalf. When we get back from our private social meal, we'll meet you in the lounge area for a full blow by blow account!!
