no login required just enjoy. The show is the Saturday - the Friday night meal is just a meal out for those that are close or are staying at the hotel in readiness for the Saturday show.
The show follows the very simple typical car show format. With the different car clubs having pitches. These pitches are located close to the track at castle Combe in the paddock area. There are a few trade stands there to tempt the pound out your pockets. BUT THE BIG DRAW IS being Able to view the action on the track. Audi uk usually have one or two of their test pilots offering white knuckle rides around the circuit in the high performance versions of the cars. Some of the fastest modified audis also go out and are a sight to be seen and heard.
Track time is offered at £45 per session - you need to have a helmet. If any members are interested pm me and I'll see if we can get a group session (12 a2's needed)
In the afternoon they usually offer a kids session where you can take the kids (yours or borrowed) around the circuit. At the end if the day there is usually a parade lap (in fact usually 3) where all the clubs form a line and drive the track -at a steady pace. No helmet required.
Hope this helps to entice you to come. Cheers mike

That's me booked up for the 11th. Will be heading to Kent after the daytime event. Anyone up for a meal at the Hilton or somewhere nearby on the Friday evening?

Look forward to meeting friends old and new. :)

Yes Murdo I will be organising a Friday night meal-probably to the excellent pub we have been to the last 2 years. As soon as I have more info from the organisers I will update this thread, but all the old hands will know what a great day/night we have.
There will also be a drive out on the Sunday to somewhere local.
Cheers mike

Might try to attend the Friday
Don't know what's occurring...
Is it like Audi's in the Park?

The other problem is which Audi to take?????
A2, TT, A4 or Q7 (or my 'other' Audi, the Ducati).....

A group session round the track sounds interesting..

Minimum PayPal donation is now corrected. Note that PayPal charge a 30p fee on £2 - so next year we'll be upping the minimum amount back to £3.

Ben

PS - I'll be there on the Sat day/evening meal.

I've added £3 to cover the ADI pitch cost plus the paypal fees. Can I have a coffee with the change David? :)

Come on girls and boys get your names down and your £2 sent as the pitch spaces are limited. Great show and let's show the other clubs how we do car shows with a great big long line of A2's.
Cheers mike
