Audi driver international

It's not a meeting Jason. A couple of the troops are helping each other out with some mods and lemans was invited to go along and have his cruise install looked at.

Pah! :(
I thought it was going to be something that I might be able to attend....

I did have a coffee with Tony (Hotstuff) last week to chew the cud for an hour or so. I live about 20 minutes away, so it seemed rude not to..

Thanks everyone for making me feel very welcome yet again, Great to see so many familiar and new faces.
I enjoyed chatting at the ADI, WOW!! some very original A2's, Silver bonnet, Body and Face Kits.

Looking forward to the next meeting, Curry night central Midlands somewhere.

Hi all,

As a newcomer to the club and ownership it was fantastic to meet up with such a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable crowd.

First into the meeting place at half 8 on a cold, damp morning it was a welcome sight to see so many A2s and owners.

A welcome to see the sun after the rain which meant a bonnet off job and although I found that the headlight fixings had snapped on one side and the bumper retaining beam was pushed in due to a previously unknown impact - thanks for the advise all on what to do next.

A bonus to win the Audi magazine subscription - may now take up Mike's suggestion to change my forum name to Mr Lucky.

Thanks again to Mike and everyone else with the organisation and also Tony for the advise and Jeff for the diagnostic check.

Hopefully see you all again soon.

Sadly for me he was in his Mitsubishi road warrior (a la Mad Max)

It's a little heavy on fuel, but it can go almost anywhere :D.

As again what a fantastic day. A bit of a wet start but the rest of the day was fantastic.

It was great to see new faces and old. And some of the best A2's in the country. Its great to still see members doing ground breaking modifications.

Cheers

David

Have tried to send a personal message to Hotstuff about the Cruise control mod help he kindly offered when we met at Castle Combe. Don't think personal messaging works for my membership? If the Milton Keynes help session on and when please?

Hi lemans---i will ask tony and report back---this is all news to me about a get together. It may just be something that the guys in the MK area were thinking about doing. cheers mike

As per above post Paul, its not a meeting, just some members having some work done at Tony's. LeMans was invited along as he is having difficulty installing cruise.

Back on thread, I'll add my belated thanks to everyone who attended ADI for a fine day out. The weather was against us to begin with but the twin gazebos worked a treat as a shelter, and it was great to catch up with old friends and new. Was good to chat with members from other clubs too who showed interest in our wee ally pals, although I think Mike will knock back the £3500 offered for the yellow peril!!

Couldn't make the evening meal, as like Timmus I had made family arrangements, but a very enjoyable day and really good that the weather turned favourable for us. Well worth the 1066 mile road trip. Ada scored her best average fuel consumption on this trip with the cruise set at 70mph most of the jounrey - 62.5mpg.
