Audis in the Park 2011 OFFICIAL UPDATE

Just bought mine :) Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

I assume I just need my PayPal Receipt to get in?

All 3 of my wrist bands arrived whilst I was away at the end of last week.
Looking forward to it as I missed last years even though my car attended.
 
hi drivebyshooters i recon we could be hitting 20+ cars i had emailed you a few weeks ago asking for space for 20 ish cars but had nothing back. so looks like we will have a good stand and out do our past record of 13 cars.
so to anyone that is considering coming please do its a great day out with plenty for kids(big and small) to do as the small fun park is open-if looking at audi's isnt your bag lol.we will have the bbq and tea coffee on the go most of the day so bring some food and a comfy chair.

Got my wristband yesterday! Mike, is there anything you want us to bring?? otherwise we might end up with 100 sausages and no bread buns!!!!! Also want to make sure we have enough drinks etc. Something to think about nearer the time maybe? There is a big Tesco near the junction of the A14, so stuff can be collected on route if required.

Thanks again for organising the stand, I hope the weather is kind to us!

Perfect description Mike! I must apologise, I just checked my emails and I hadnt replied! (although I could of sworn I did)..lol

Space allocation is whatever you need/want this year as I have managed to negotiate for the WHOLE field.

Dont feel you have to stop at 20..lol...50 60 70 is fine...lol

Last year the event started at 10:00 and everyone meet up at a near by McDonalds at 08:00-08:30.

a2sumo will be posting official details about what time and where soon I'm sure. I haven't seen anywhere yet this year that specifies a start time for the event but assume as the previous two years it's been 10:00 that the same will apply. The park itself is actually open from sunset to sundown.
 
It would be criminal for me to miss the event as i live just down the road from Kettering, im in!

Hopefully a nice big group of A2s in the park
 
Hi one and all not long till Audi in the park----so with the down time of a2oc coming up i have decided to post the meeting point early.
If you fancy a spot of McDonald's for breakfast please join us for 8--8.30 here McDonald's Orion Way, Kettering Business Park, Kettering, Northamptonshire NN15 6NL .Or if you prefer just turn up and drive to where all the a2's are in the field. The show opens at 10 am so we normally get there for 9 so we can set up the flags and tent. riverlad will be on site with the tea and coffee as usual and i will be doing the BBQ again. BIRDS01 thanks for the offer to help out with provisions but we have bread sorted(rolls-slices) i will only be cooking bacon this year as it went down well at ADI. BUT TO ALL, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING WHAT EVER YOU FANCY AND USE THE BBQ.
I am so looking forward to seeing old and new faces this year to what is becoming the best Audi show of the year. Please bring a comfy chair or rug to sit on as i have booked the sun-lol if you have not been to a social before why not give it a try i think you will enjoy the day. cheers mike
