The chrome ring arrived this morning and so I bit the bullet and had a go at opening up the hole for it and the headlamp switch.
I won't be doing that again! I am hopeless with things like this and end up butchering stuff.
I did manage to cut the hole and thanks to the chrome ring the edges are hidden.
One problem I have is that the switch is recessed a LOT (if I engage the locking mechanism in the switch.
The only way I can get the switch further forward is if I don't worry about it engaging in the locking holes?
Is that the issue everyone else had? If so what did you do to bring it further forward? Just glue it in place?
Doesn't that leave the fascia and switch loose?
For now I will leave it and see what I can do

Hi
I will need to sort out an installation instruction sheet.
Plus how to set these up, the one that comes with it is not really up to the job.

Hi Steve,
That was the issue I found too.
I figured either cut new locking holes in the surround (not sure I could reach) or tape it in place and never remove it.
In the end I had made it squint so it is locked in place by torsion and friction.

Yes found the switch around 1cm too far back.
Did you use anything or just bring it forward?
Hi Steve, do you still have these available?
Cheers,
Matt.
Hello Steve, I would be interested in one of these sent a PM to you
So I think I have figured out how to change the mode, there a 3 modes, 1 Second, 3 Second and 5 Second delay in turning the lights on. I haven't got the coming home lights working yet, is this something that needs configuring?
