I'd say that it's inevitable that you'll see exposed tape. What I'd do would be to use a scalpel or Stanley knife to carefully cut through those exposed sections of tape. So looking at the rear of the rest there is full coverage of tape except where the slots are .... Maybe pre-painting the existing footrest in black, prior to fitting the new rest, might help it to look better?

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. My To Do list is too long so I will go for the inserts. Order coming Paul. Sorry 993BOY looks like you missed out on these.

There are 2 left to be spoken for and 1 unpaid for, this unpaid for footrest will go to the first paying member and the interest that @justjust73 showed will be removed. Many PMs have been sent, I do hope he is ok.

There is 3 available. To be honest I’ve not counted the total received as I trust Cut-Tec to deliver what was purchased. Let me work through the rest of the box this evening for the members who are waiting for me to post their footrest with Paul’s infills and I’ll let you know.

That said there should be 3 available (2 unspoken for and 1 unpaid for item that I’m happy to let go as it should have been paid for by Thursday 1 October).

Is it just the 1 you’re after sir. As for payment. I’ll PM you later once you confirm how many you want.

The complimentary infills are 3D printed items that Paul @depronman has made up. There is another thread about this but probably just as easy to PM him with your with your request, then take it from there.

How many footrests was you after.

Im sure the rest of the parcels will be with you very soon. The App also informed me that the following members have already received the footrest: @TheLardMeister, @Mbzpar, @jaffa_jim, @beady73, @DolphinGreyA2 I truly hope you like the contents of your parcels.

Once I have confirmation that your parcel has been delivered via the App, usually with a picture of it at your front door, I will send you another PM stating that it has been delivered along with the picture attached. Over the next few days I will also display an updated list showing who has received their parcels, you row will be highlighted in red to show the proceedings are complete for this transaction.

I did send one as Next Day delivery to someone as they had recently helped me out and it was my little way of saying thank you, this parcel is still in transit though, why offer a service which cannot be honoured.

Whilst on the Hermes App I could see that the Infill parcel from Paul @depronman is due to arrive today. The remaining footrests, with infills will be taken to the Hermes shop this evening and will start their journey tomorrow.

Don't forget to add picture please.

Evening all,

Just updated the list in post #360. 6 packages remain in transit but should be with you over the weekend. All the packages were sent at the same time.

For those of you highlighted in green, Ive not yet started marrying up the infills to the footrest packages as I've just been too busy doing 'Top Dad Stuff' and playing with VCDS in Project OEM.

All will be sorted and posted tomorrow.

I see from the Hermes App that most of you have you Bespoke A2 Footrests now. A couple await to be delivered (or the App updated by Hermes).

There are 3 new members (@993BOY, @N8P, @Away with the fairys) added at the bottom of the list on post #360. I have yet to send the payment instruction PM and will get to that tomorrow evening once the kids are in bed, have a full day of family 'Top Dad Stuff' in tomorrows itinerary.

That is all 113 footrests now spoken for. After many PMs to @justjust73, I am still yet to get a reply, I do hope this member is ok. As its now 10 days after the initial payment deadline I am willing to remove this members interest and offer this very last footrest to the next paying member.

Although these can be ordered again in the future, it will be at a minimum order of 93 (at this price) and I don't know when that will be. Could well be some months away!

Register your interest quick for the very last one.

Unfortunately I have had to remove the interest from @justjust73 as this member has failed to respond to multiple PMs requesting payment. This final footrest has now been paid for and added to someone else order.

The list in post #360 has been updated. There are no spares and all have been spoken for. Just waiting for payment in response to the payment PMs sent moments ago.

The thanks really all need to be in yours and @depronman direction @2work. This has been a phenomenal effort logistically. So impressive and something which is going to enhance a great number of our trusty steeds.
 
Morning everyone,

The list in post #360 has again been updated. This update confirms that all the footrest packages waiting for Pauls infills before dispatch, have now been sent.

@dogbower, your infills that arrived here have also been sent.

Just one remaining footrest to be paid for then that should be it unless I decide to sell my spare as I missed out on another A2 the last couple of days.
