Service offered: climate control button replacement

From a search of thread titles, previous 'Service Offered' threads appear to have been left in the relevant forum (Servicing & Repairs, Modifications etc.) so this one's fine to stay here as far as I'm concerned. Although it might be an idea to start a 'Services' section in the Marketplace and move them all to it.
 
The problem is if someone is adept enough to remove the climate control from their dash to send it away for cleaning/button replacement, they should have enough skill to do it themselves as it's quite a straight forward process with plenty of info on here. Wouldn't it be better just to source worn units and refurb them and offer them for sale on here?

I expressed concern because the thread seems to have drifted beyond its original purpose, and is now getting bumped by repetitive adverts such as posts #35 through #37.

Hi Ian I will post it in marketplace tomorrow I can’t do it at the moment as I’m currently out :)

What section in the market place should I put it ?

Parts or wanted ?

That's the issue I think Louis, currently we don't really have a suitable section for it. None of the previous 'Service Offered' threads have been posted in the Market either.

As I read the situation at the moment, you're still in a discussion/decision-making stage as to the final shape of the service you are thinking of offering. The current forum would therefore be the best place to continue to float ideas and gauge members' reactions. Meanwhile I will raise the idea of a Services section for the Market with the rest of the moderation team.

Just a reminder: once posted in the Market, any advert for this service would be subject to Market rules.

Thank you Ian. For now I will keep it here and when you create a section in the marketplace (services offerd) I will put it in there

I like to hear your guys ideas to make this service better so keep them coming :)

More heads are better than 1 as the saying goes ?
