Social at Saltaire, West Yorkshire Sunday 22 May 2016

Now that I finally know where I'll be working around the time of this social, I also know I'll be able to attend. Put me down for the pub meal as well, please. :)

It would be good if you could make it down - ive never seen a Papaya Storm. We are meeting up at around 10am at Saltaire Mill Car Park but will be there for around 4hrs.

Well, the car is going to get worked on over the next few days to cure the alternator issues and whatever else can be achieved, hopefully it will be in good and reliable shape to head down on Sunday morning. I am really looking forward to meet up with you guys and see some well put together cars. Fingers x!
 
Just been looking at the weather for the Yorkshire meet, thought I'd better try on my Storm rain coat just in case,
Form a orderly queue now, yellow car owners only haha!

I'm more concerned why you've got an all pvc outfit in your cupboard.....is there something your not telling us Jeff? Each to their own!!

That photo reminds me of the 1940,s acid bath murderer, John Haigh, who quite coincidentally lived in Yorkshire and attended The Wakefield Queen Elizabeth Grammar School - spookey bit of absolutely useless information !. :rolleyes:

Directions to the A2 Meet at Saltaire

The postcode to use for the Sat Nav is BD17 7EF.

This will bring you to the correct side of the canal for the car park we are using.

Continue along Salts Mill Road, following the brown signs to Salts Mill. The road crosses the canal and after two mini roundabouts you will see the Mill at the end of the road.

Drive through the gates into the Salts Visitors Car Park.

We will be parking in an area reserved for Audi A2 Owners’ Club – which I believe will be the second right turning.


Time - from 10am on Sunday 22 May

Please arrive at any time you like after 10am. There will be some of us around all day until about 3.30/4pm


Pub Meal

The Dog & Gun Pub in Sutton-in-Craven, BD20 8DS

Table is booked for 12 people for food at 5pm – still possible to join in with this if you want – just let me know on the day
