This is a good number because the convoy isn't too large to cause problems but still enough to make the public point and sometimes wave in confusion!!

Well having done the run, I'm very happy with it and I'm more than happy to invite you all along for a little tour of it. My photography is terrible and it was quite a gloomy day, but I still enjoyed the run. On a sunny day it would be wonderful.

I'll check the forecast this Sunday and as long as it's still ok we are good to go :)
 
Looks good! May I make a request for consideration? That's to request that we drive at a relatively modest pace so that we can all enjoy those lovely views?

Certainly David. I have now sold my orange rocket, so things will be at a much more sensible pace, with a few stopping points as well.
 
I'll appreciate that! The last trip was a bit "hairy", to say the least! I will confess, I was within an ace of spinning off the road, at one point! You HAD said, if you can't see another A2 in your rear mirror, then SLOW DOWN! However, we did totally lose a complete group, at one point? Oh well, lets just enjoy this one, eh?

And that theory only works if everyone follows it lol. I was happily tootling along thinking everything was fine. Things will be a lot calmer this time.

Interestingly, all but 2 of the 16 A2's going will be TDI's. Plenty of torque and 3-pot humm for the welsh hills :) Hopefully someone will bring a tow rope for the FSI's :p
 
Forecast is still looking good for sunday, so i'll give the Chinese Buffett a ring later on today to book us in. Should be around 20 adults so should be fun :)

Just to confirm again, our meeting place will be B&Q carpark. As you entyer the slope to B&QW there is an overflow carpark on the right. Postcode CF48 1HY.
