Whilst meeting up with Ian Today I achieved my best miles to half a tank. As mileage racks up my mpg never ceases to amaze me, constant driving 2k rpm with JDD gearbox is 66mph.

Precious best was 306miles this smashes it.

This depends on many factors, for example size of wheels, tyre pressure, weather, recently changed filters, weight in car, constant motorway or town driving, Weight in car. May be a couple more I missed.

In my case: pepper pots, 38psi, weather was glorious recently changed fuel filter, carrying extra 4 seats, constant motorway driving. Paul’s @deproman map helps with low down torque.

Pleasure to meet you yesterday Ross - and great to finally see another LY7R A2, in such good condition too. Sorry to be late to post, but I had some seats to fit when I got home from everything else I was doing yesterday! Many thanks for the tips and advice, they're all in and a huge improvement in comfort from my old cloth SE ones. Now to get the lumbar wiring done - @timmus?

Wow that's some economy - I'm not going to get much above 250 miles on mine despite the motorway run yesterday. Guess the gearbox makes the biggest difference there.
