Mine went into the local garage today (well, yesterday now). They are looking for a coolant leak which is emptying the header tank in about 200 miles. Hopefully it's just something they've not sealed properly when they did the waterpump and thermostat with the cambelt recently. I'm seeing no signs of head gasket anyway. While it's in there, it's also getting rear shocks and probably droplinks, if their guy is correct who I demonstrated the knocking noise over poor surfaces to.

Car went in for MOT today a month early - straight pass
And that was with the auto lights function switch in place.

That's great, I think whoever had the initial issue ended up with a grumpy MOT tester.

You were right though, nothing special and it doesn't look very clean either.
Still an object lesson in how NOT to sell a car. Get it properly cleaned, get fresh number plates, if you include photos of the seats, make sure it includes BOTH seats. Clean the sills ...

DohI think I lost 4 weeks because it wasn’t due to Aug 25th
Had 4 tyres put on the pepperpots today, what a difference to the ride I’d say it’s at least 50% more comfortable! Love it!
Need to get some new centre caps though as they are not going to stay on very long.
Only 50% improvement? Running on just steel wheels and then adding tyres should give a MUCH higher figure than that! LOL!

I like to be conservative but it’s a sea change in comfort, not putting the Alloys back on the will be up for sale soon, that’s how much better they are!

Pepper pots are alloy not steel. Sooo light too, I love the ride from mine run them on cross climates at 38 psi
