It’s not a completion but I did this last year 65 kilo trolley jack slipped out of the hilux onto my toe nothing left of bone doc said I dusted it they let it heal like a piece of chewing gum it aches in cold weather always will apparently ?

Seeing that makes me think that perhaps I should start wearing my work boots in the garage rather than flipflops

We had a show dept at one place I worked. The guy that ran it prepared sectioned engines, but he always said that all cut lines had to be curved.
It drove the machine shops to distraction when they got components to cut, all marked up with sweeping curved cut lines!
That said they did look special, and many had an electric drive to demonstrate the parts working. As an apprentice it was one of the best places to spend time.

Sorry! So...

Diesel (75) SE model, it's had one female owner from new confirmed on the log book, 127K, full Audi specialist service history at one place, Cambelt done 5K ago...seemed far too good to pass up!

Went to have a look and you'd swear the car just came out of the dealership inside and out. Usual little wear on the climate control buttons, and 2 stone chips but that was all I could find. Huge folder with just about every bit of history on the last 14 years

I was looking about for one about a year and couldn't find one I was happy with the condition of, ended up buying a Mini 1.4D instead. This one popped up for sale here in Northern Ireland last week (rare as hens teeth here it seems!). Made sure I was the first one down when they opened and had it bought 40 mins later ?

Today I fitted an auto dimming rear view mirror. You tube videos gave me the courage do it myself after considering the potential for cracking the windscreen.....luckily all went well. A big thankyou to Timmus for fitting the loom last year.

If anyone else is interested in auto dimming rear view mirrors I still have kits available for these, they are a simple job to wire in to the A2

I love mine and would never go back
