Fixed the rear interior lights (dry solder joint). Yesterday I fitted an underseat subwoofer (Halfords price matched their Kenwood @£150to a competitors at £94.99!) I cheated quite a bit and soldered the whole lot into the rear speaker amp.... Yes, yes I hear the cries of too much power drawn.... the amp draws a max of 7.5A, if it pops the fuse I will pick up off the fuse box as I left the power lead long just in case. I will velcro the unit down but its not moved so far :0 Simply poked a small hole through the carpet under the seat, fed the wires through and soldered them to the associated wires.
Its not a "Look at me" type of sound, but certainly gives a nice deep bass that the standard Blaupunkt speakers cant give. Ive found +1 on the bass and playing with the remote volume gives a decent sound.
