Today I.....

Today I . . . . .

. . . . . . . .Bought into the future and got a Tesla.

Anybody want to buy a lovely, fully specced and low mileage Jaguar F-Pace? Too big for us now that we don't need a pram with us all over, so time to say goodbye.

Tank (or Tankie as my little boy calls him) is going nowhere though.

Today I got deva ready for the Audi Bluetooth fitment, cables all connected to the RNS-E, microphone ? connected in the front interior light (I always wondered what the little box was with the piece of foam stuck in it)
With the help from Tom 2work it will hopefully be up and running this weekend.

What have you bought, Mike?
Last year, I drove a Model S 90D from The Hague to the Dolomites. I love my A2, but getting back in it at the end of the trip felt like stepping back into prehistory. It’s propelled by a rapid series of controlled explosions.

I would imagine (in fact, bet money on) Wayne is referring to the Jag.

Unfortunately, I find Jag-LR products to be a relic from the bad old days of British Leyland in terms of reliability / quality: Some cars are great and never go wrong, others are continual problem / time / money sinks.

A series of controlled chemical reactions exothermically transforming a liquid to gases or a car propelled by magnetic flux and induced current in a conductor? Both are pretty science awesome!

Just a standard range + Model 3 - managed to sneak in before Boris cut the grant which is nice.

Tesla are doing a promotion for cars taken before the month end and with 0% BiK, going to 1% this next year, it made no sense to keep the Jaguar, which I never really gelled with. Got it for 3 years, after which time I may well be screaming to get back into a 'normal' car, or I may then want to get the latest model - things are moving so quickly in the field of EVs that today's best will seem like old hat in 3 years. Just like the first CD or DVD players did after a while.

Hoping for much better things from the M3 and already have home charging from when I had the A3 e-tron. Considered an Audi, but they're just not in the same league: slower, less range, more expensive, much more depreciation, water leak issues still and just too big, longer even than the F-Pace. I know Teslas aren't perfect and they've got their fanboys (I'm not one by the way), and their detractors, but the new 21 MY cars seem much better screwed together and they just seem to have the best infrastructure in terms of charging network (Teslas can all use any charger PLUS the supercharger network, but other cars are limited to patchy slow chargers, or hit and miss service from the limited fast charge network.

Until I've got the money for it in my bank, I can't say much, but I don't disagree with you, let's leave it at that for now ;)
