Look what was waiting for he when I got home. 😊 Thanks @A2Steve

Today I saw my postman struggling to carry a parcel to my house. It was very heavy and I offered my apologies. With the price of parts going through the roof and the possibility of needing one in the not too distant future it made sense to buy one now.

This is for TDI, right?
In not to distant future I need to buy a full clutch set for 1.4 petrol and I cannot decide between Sachs, LUK or SKF. Any suggestions? Which clutch set is factory fitted to AUA engine?

Yesterday I have purchased a set of 1,5 years old (only 4.000km) 185/50/16 Continental EcoContact 5 (they came from a Skoda Citigo iV) for a new set of standard SE wheels.
I can't wait to put them on and say goodbye to my curbed SE wheels.

Audi fitted both LUK and Sache at the factory
I’ve never been able to buy Sache aftermarket at a reasonable price but LUK are normally reasonable
I’ve fitted LUK for years and never had any reason to complain about them
Check the cross arm for crack and wear around the ball headed pivot bolt
Also check the bolt head for its anti friction coating. Change it if in any doubt as only about £6
Also you must change the top hat about £12

I do hope you weren't their last stop... ;)

Returned home from a week in Devon to find my replacement headlight delivered thanks to A2steve. Fitted and now making the front of the car much better looking.
I have tried sanding headlights before by hand but never had much success.

Thx for your info. Do you maybe have the part nr. for anti friction coating and top hat? Sadly I do not get what exactly this is...
I was looking to buy this set: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/luk/7613309

@mtl Remember your old set of SE alloys are ideal as spares, candidates for refurbishment or to have winter tyres on.
I will keep the center hub caps for spares, but SE whells must go. There is already to much A2 stuff around and the space is limited and also I do not plan to use the car in the winter, since it will be only a weekend ''fun'' car. My first plan was to refurbish my SE wheels, but the cost of 400 EUR made it completelly crazy from the cost point of view.
Yesterday I picked up my latest member of the family...

Nice car. I wish you a lot of fun with it. Petrol or diesel?

No part numbers sorry
The top hot is included in that kit they call it a sleeve
The cross arm is also includes which is great
The bolt I refer to is what the cross arm pivots on

Main dealer only part
