Made of butter and heavy as lead. But still my wheel of choice for looks.
Mine looked a little like that, I gave them a going over with a wire brush a found a nasty suprise, all changed now & much safer.

Today I looked at my Akoya project 90 rescue and decided a set of decent doors would be a better bet than repairing these. I've put a Wanted ad in the Market.

Always love a picture of that my car. Remains, hands down, my favourite looking A2.Today I finally got round to fitting the genuine Audi roof bars to Flipper, not sure I'm liking the look but my plan is to buy a Tent box classic for attending socials etc I might paint the silver parts dolphin grey to blend them in slightly better

today i fitted running lights.
i took the wheel off and attacked the wheel arch liner as per numerous posts to see the best possible way of getting from the cabin to the engine bay.
turns out theres a much more direct route which no doubt most are aware of; under the passenger footwell carpet theres a lovely blank grommet which allows direct access!
in through there:

I am getting 63 mpg from my 17’s but that is at a steady 70 mph on my 130 mile round trip commute. It works out at basically one gallon each way. Happy with that and the 17s are currently nice and smooth and buckle free (for now)

For me who does around 50-60 mile a week, I'll take the hit in favour of style!! I can always pop the 16s on for any long trip

Evening all,
Today I managed to step away from the pool and gardening for a few hours to wash the fleet after they accumulated 2-3 weeks of commuting dirt/debris. Also managed to meet up with Aris @flashzero to hand over his new FBMFSW and to provide a couple of firmware updates.
