Drives like a new car - and is costing as much!
@2work Tom If you want the auto light switch to light the tell tale for the rear fog and have not already you could take a look at what I did to modify my auto light switch here.
Thanks Tom.
My MOT tester asked about the replacement switch when I first had an MOT with it in, he's the wife's cousin or sumat like that and I've known him for years, after explaining to him about the switch, he just shrugged his shoulders and said."ok, no problem".
Cheers Tom.
When I clicked on the link it takes me to my ebay account and low and behold, hes the the same guy I bought my other two from
So can you alter the settings through the bluetooth app Tom?
What did you use? I had a Mondeo previously and used thick self-adhesive panels inside the door skins, on arches, floor etc and it made a big difference. The Audi TDI I now have sounds quite noisy in cToday i covered the whole floor and wheel arches of my A2 with sound deadening and refitted the interior

Hi julesw,I'm just getting used to having a rather cute Audi A2 on my drive. I bought it yesterday as I needed a replacement car in a hurry to get to work. It's not perfect. Lots of things to do, but none are too taxing or expensive I hope.
So, today has mainly been making a list day.
1. Front brake discs were mentioned on its MOT and I do value good brakes. So I spied someone selling some Brembos on Ebay that he'd purchased but not installed before he sold the car. Also pads to go with them.
2. replaced the 15 Amp fuse that took out the accessories plug and left me with no SatNav.
3. tried to work out why the gear linkage was so terrible when I bought it but seems to be improving.
4. originally thought of replacing the radio but it actually sounds very good.
5. paint lacquer coat is peeling away in a few places. I know it won't rust but a solution would be good.
6. tyres are legal but not really a brand I'd like. Much expense. Stick with 205/40 R17 or switch to more sensible tyres of a smaller size.
7. worried that he seems to have a wild mix of every car scent device around the car ?
8. trying to work out where all the standard bits are inside the engine bay. Air filter, fuel filter, cabin air filter, oil filter. I can see the gear linkage if I do need to readjust it.
9. Walking up to it after a supermarket shop and thinking it looks rather good for a 16 year old car.
10. Thinking of all the ways I can spend money and make it 'better'
