Project: Anti-roll-bar for the front axis. Discussion!

He ho, just 5 buyers needed before the order will be given to H&R to start the production.
So be in time, for this one time offer, including shipping from DE to UK.

Time is running out.

We reached 50 people today. If those 50 people paid there bills, ill place the order.

Hurry up people.

Im driving the rear sway bar prototype in my A2 1.4 petrol since some months now and i was very happy with this. Finally, my A2 1.6 with 160.000km has a full prototype kit for front and rear installed now. H&R installed it at the H&R headquarter to do the TÜV tests and certificates last week.

Let me say this to you guys: The understeer is reduced to a minimum, also the rolling of the entire car. The steering is direct now. No more seasicknes after driving some curves. All this with the standard S-Line dampers and springs (delivery condition).

Once youve driven it, you wouldnt like to miss it.

Remember: 54 poeple ordered 61 kits and 49 people paid their order till now. Time is running out...

Dear Friends of well shaped Aluminium,

because there is nothing out on the market thats fitting in the audi a2 (only for the read axis by jabbasport, whiteline and in the near future H&R), we are trying to realize a anti roll bar for the front axis in 22mm.

I just start this thread, to evaluate the chances to get enough people together over the hole EU to kickstart this project. This project is mainly promoted in the a2-freun.de forums, but will be also promoted in the dutch forums in the next days.

It will be produced by Eibach in a batch of 25 pieces, but only if we bring 25 or more people together who will pay for. Eibach offered me a price of round about 250EUR (~206GBP) max, rather less.

If you are interested, please leave a short note in this thread and let me know what you think about.

For those of you, who can read german, please follow this link:

The production quality and finish looks really good. Thanks to all who involved and made this possible.

Today i popped over to A2cars in milton keynes to adjust the fit of the rear H&R anti roll bar. The front will be fitted as soon as the dust covers arrive for the new koni FSD dampers. Many thanks Tony and Petra for the hot drinks and help adjusting the rear ARB.

Parcel arrived at last only 16 days late but mostly complete.

I'm going to order stainless steel bands to replace the mild steel ones fitted in the kit as suggested on the a2.de forum,
the mild steel ones wont last a year up here if the roads get salted.
well worth reading the thread over on A2.de as there is a fitting mistake on the instructions.
