I think that it went on a lot later than that (or at least it seemed like it did)

I will be getting there nice and early, probably about 6 ish.
I will bring my VCDS kit and also the K-CAN kit, to see if I can help anyone.

I can use the K-CAN cable and software to retrieve the password/code for the instrument cluster on your A2 so if you ever need to code your immobiliser on any new keys etc. you will be able to do that via VCDS when you need to and not have to go to a dealer to get it done.

If you think you would like this service let me know and I will do my best for you on the night.

I am sure it will go on later. But with a 2 hour drive back I am not sure I will.
Unfortunate timing of it being the day before mothers day...do you lot not have kids that need "help" to pamper mums (wifes) with breakfast in bed and mums that needs flowers and meals on sunday? :)

i hold my hands up - i hadn't realised the date until about 2 weeks ago. Sorry

There will always be a clash for someone. And at least its not on actual mothers day.
Anyone could have mentioned the marginal conflict of date, but didn't so no need to apologise.
Organising a social gathering deserves praise for effort of organising.
No hint of criticism implied (missed a wink face wotsit off my previous post). :p

The numbers to this social are fantastic especially as its only an evening meal as opposed to an all day affair. I really appreciate the effort and time people are going to to travel. I am looking forward to putting faces to names and A2's. cheers one and all mike
 
Sorry i cant make this to meet all you fellow A2 owners.

I will be at AITP though! Hopefully my FSI Project will be all finished and polished up!

If anyone is there that could code my spare key, i will gladly pass some Beer money your way!
 
Mike I can't add a name to the calendar link but I will be bringing a new owner with us to the meal. He hasn't rdgistered yet but will do. TTFN Robin and Maddy

HI,

Just a reminder.

I will be getting there early 6pm or possibly earlier.
I will be parking in the area at the far end in line with the restaurant.

I can get the login code from your instrument cluster for you. With that you can program the immobiliser chips on your keys via VCDS (handy if you have bought an additional key and don't want to have to take it to a dealer to code it).

I will also bring one or two new immobiliser chips, so if you want to swap one into an additional key you have I can TRY and help you get it sorted (time permitting of course).

I will have my VCDS cable with me, just in case anyone has a problem they need a scan for, but I probably won't have time to do scan checks, but again, I will try.

If you want this done, just PM me or reply to this and I will catch you when you get there.

We aim to get there for around 6pm too so we can say hello to everyone and admire everyone's cars. Looking forward to meeting everyone but unfortunately won't be able to stay for the meal as the little one needs to be tucked up in bed.

Good evening ladies and gentle peeps---- i know a few of you have said a time that you are coming but for the rest of you can i suggest getting to the far car park at Fort dunlop for 6.00pm please. Vonnie and i hope to get there for 5.30pm or there about. The table is booked for 7.00pm so please be on time as some members have a long drive home.
I would really like some group photos of us all at the cars-so smiles everyone.

Are you both travelling in the same car Mike? If not are you following Yvonne?
 
Thats a good question James ---- i need to put the summer wheels back on the FSI and they are in Birmingham so makes sense, but i fancy taking the storm out for a spin. Or do we just take one? but which one? oh its all so confusing.

Yes i think so its only a 160 mile round trip. Looks like Vonnies (factory)white and the FSI castle red.
