Handbrake Cable Group Orders

Evening all,

Here are all the group order relevant posts from Steve handbrake cable thread. This has been provided to maintain the flow of the original thread whilst we all add our interest here for Rick @Rickmeister to selflessly supply us with what we desire.

I'll build the lists later on this evening. Of note, I'm here just conducting assistance as this is a Rick's and Ian's @in9999 venture. Rick is going to send the order to Ian, who will distribute to everyone here in the UK.

Whilst the registered interest is extracted to build the lists, I'll also try to tidy it up without ruining the flow of this new thread.

OK, back again after some work prep for tomorrow, so could I suggest the following plan of action.

Please read carefully

I guess we have a list of 10 names ready to go, these will be the first recipients, then I can put in a second order if needed and Audi have enough in stock. This will share the postage so a good deal for everyone and if possible, a single contact in the UK for simplicity to redistribute. Smaller parcels go through easier and attract less attention too.

@in9999 / @2work do you have that list ready to go and a member as UK contact? Thanks also for helping here.

If you are in the first 10, please mail me not pm, on [email protected] and please include A2 Cable in the subject line to help me manage a busy in-box. I'll mail you back with the financials and how to reimburse me and I would prefer this done off-form please. Everyone in the first 10 will be e-mailed a copy of the Audi rechnung as proof I have actually ordered your stuff.

Important bit: when I order tomorrow, I will have to pay with Paypal, so that's €560 out of my account. With the Volico order (€750 up front from me), I used Paypal delayed payment which gave two weeks for members to reimburse me before money actually left my account. I won't ask for reimbursement until I have the goods from Audi, checked them and parcelled them up for onward post. This way I have a final all in cost per member.

Please, if you order, follow that commitment through promptly and everyone wins. It worked (with one exception) on the Volico order and no reason that it can't work again.

Ok, hopefully I have 10 A2 Cable e-mails tomorrow so I can order at 2:30pm GMT...

I was the first to contact Rick asking for this part - my name has somehow been missed off the list...

I think the super efficiency of the forum has meant as I wasn't online last night (busy climbing at my local climbing wall) this has escalated very quickly to formalise a list missing my name when A2Steve actually started this thread following a conversation we had with my search for the elusive handbrake cable. I am in urgent need of a cable - snapped way back in October. Ordered one from Latvia that didn't arrive. MOT due Monday.

Please add me to the priority list.
